Can you believe that it's time to start planning for Summer Camp already? Camps are a great way for your children to try new things, future unique interests, meet new friends, stretch their creativity, and have tons of FUN all summer long!!!

Artemis campers will explore the scientific aspects of what it will take for Earthlings to return to the moon and on to Mars. Not only will we need to know about space travel we will need geologists, roboticists, chemists, computer technologists, and more. Through daily hands-on exploration, campers will learn and experience the science fields awaiting future space explorers.

Astro Camp strives to:

- Inspire future generations to learn about space exploration and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics developing pathways to STEM careers

sessions are aligned with NASA's current priorities:  Aeronautics, Technology, Solar Systems & Beyond, Earth Right Now, International Space Station, and Journey to Mars.   Our vision is to inspire the next generation of scientists, researchers, and engineers to pursue careers in STEM fields. By tapping into the curious minds of our youngsters, we are planting the seeds necessary to attract and retain students in STEM education. Hours: Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Includes breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack.

Due to demand, we cannot offer part-time spots, full summer participation is required. We apologize. If you register your child,  you are required to pay for all weeks of summer camp.

Kroc Camp Registration form and Summer Camp Additional Forms must be completed before your child can attend any summer camps.

A non-refundable registration fee of $100 will be due before camp begins.

Registration fee includes a 2022 Kroc Camp T-Shirt and covers all camp field trip related expenses.

Campers enjoy swimming, indoor & outdoor games, music, arts & crafts, group games, sports, and other fun activities.

Summer Camps at the Marine Education Center offer an adventure in learning on the Mississippi Gulf Coast each year. Week-long camps are available for rising 1st - 12th graders. Sea Camp for 1st - 6th graders is back in its 35th year with the "Ultimate Sea-vivor" theme, Shark Fest will venture out into the Gulf of Mexico for an elasmobranch expedition, Angler Camp will catch some fishy facts this summer, and the new in 2022 camp, Island Adventure, will take campers on a learning expedition across coastal Mississippi!

Each year MGCCC offers a variety of summer camps for children and teens at our Jackson County, Harrison County and Perkinston campuses. 

MGCCC Summer Camps offer education and enrichment for young campers. This year’s camps include sports, cooking, chemistry, robotics, agricultural science, construction, and the arts. Select a campus or center below to view camps offered.

Summer & Seasonal Camps at Lynn Meadows Discovery Center

2022 session dates will be May 31 – July 29, 2022. Camps are for children ages 4-11. Our 2 week WINGS theatre camps range from ages 6-18. Sign up for morning or afternoon sessions or register for one of each and build a full day’s schedule, which includes FREE lunch bunch supervision. (Campers must bring their own lunch.)

Morning or Afternoon Camp – $85 per week

Full-Day Camp (morning & afternoon camp with free lunch bunch*) – $170 per week

LMDC members save 10% on summer camps.

Extended Care Rates: 7:30-9am – $20 per week/4-5:30pm – $20 per week AM & PM extended care – $40 per week

*Lunch Bunch: Lunch supervision is FREE for full-day campers and available for an additional $10 per week for half-day campers. (Campers must bring their own lunch)

The Mississippi Gulf Coast YMCA offers full day camp programs coast-wide at three different locations: Taconi (Ocean Springs), Vancleave, East Hancock. Weekly Summer Camp sessions begin the Tuesday after Memorial Day each year and run through the end of July. The number of weekly sessions offered each year varies based on the start dates of the school year.

From arts and crafts, to swimming, to fitness, there is something fun for all. Through our camps we offer enrichment activities focusing on S.T.E.A.M. ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) activities for campers. Your child will have a memorable summer and make lifelong friendships.

Day Camp Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday, 6:00 am- 6:00 pm, except where noted on the calendar provided by your YMCA Camp site.**Camp is full-time only, all 9 weeks.  Drop-in weeks/rates are not offered.**

Summer Camp Registration Opens for Current Customers February 1st. New Customer Registration Opens March 1st.

Come join us for the newest and most exciting full-time Summer Camp on the Gulf Coast for K – 13 years of age. We are open 6:00am-6:00pm, Monday – Friday beginning the Tuesday after Memorial Day and running through the summer. This Christ based program centers around teaching your children moral values that will last a lifetime. Secondly, we go all out to give your child a Summer vacation they’ll never forget! We take field trips every day of Summer and never slow down!

Does your camper like to learn about new animals? Do they like to explore nature and spend time outside? Then Camp Aqua is the place to be this summer!

Camp Aqua: Investi-Gators will take an in-depth look at fish, dolphins, birds, reptiles, and invertebrate anatomy by observing animals on campus and in the Mississippi Sound. Camp days are full of educational games, take-home crafts, hands-on experiments, ambassador animal encounters, and guest appearances from our behind-the-scenes staff.

The Dolphin and Stingray Adventure Camp is our ultimate job shadow at IMMS and Ocean Adventures Marine Park. It is an immersive week-long day camp, in which your child can step into the rubber boots of a marine scientist – and experience the world of our dolphins, sea lions, rays, sharks, and other animals who live here at IMMS and Ocean Adventures.

Your child will participate in hands-on learning opportunities designed to teach them about marine mammal, tropical bird, sharks, sting rays, and sea turtle biology and conservation. Students will even meet our resident dolphins, sea lions, birds, and rays!

Registration for Sea-n-Sail Adventure Camp 2022 is open! The Sea-n-Sail Adventure Camp is a day camp that is designed to bring about a greater awareness of The Mississippi Gulf Coast’s original history and maritime heritage through a variety of fun and educational activities. The camp is offered by the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum of Biloxi, and is open to 6-12 year old students.
The camp consists of a week of activities including model boat building, fishing, cast netting, swimming, and field trips to places such as the Exploreum Science Center, and the Institute of Marine and Mammal Studies. Seven sessions will be held during the summer: June 6-10, 13-17, 20-24(6-8 only), 27-7/1, and July 11-15, 18-22, and 25-29. Daily activities will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. Campers will be grouped according to age: 6-8 and 9-12 years old. Camp staff for each group will include three counselors who are CPR/First Aid certified.

All Sea-n-Sail Adventure Campers will take two sailing trips aboard one of the Museum’s famous replicas of the Biloxi Schooner. Age group 9-12 will take a full day trip to Horn Island through waters fished by Biloxi fisherman for over 200 years. Campers age 6-8 will visit Deer Island during one of their half day sails and learn about marine pollution. During the sail, campers will learn components of sailing a schooner, boating safety and rules of the road, and participate in many sailing activities.

Cost is $250 per child

Riches Music Studio has openings for their Piano and Choir Camps. If your little one is a lover of music this is the place to be!! Beginner and intermediate pianists will love playing (and singing) together during this camp packed with fun activities. Students will do crafts, play music games, and learn how to read music during this camp. A performance will take place during camp on Friday at 11:30am.

$200 tuition covers one week of camp.

$50 registration fee due at sign up. 

$150 due before first day of camp.

Summer Discovery Camp 2022 Information

All children participating in camps will explore the natural world through discovery and guided hands-on activities. Our themes and activities revolve around the Pascagoula River and local bayou ecosystem. Children in the elementary and middle school summer camps will each take a boat tour if the weather permits.  Each camper will receive a summer camp tee shirt and be invited to participate in our mini-art exhibition at the end of each session!

Summer camps for children entering Kindergarten through 2nd grade will be the week of June 27 and July 18.  Camp for children entering 3rd through 5th grades will bethe week of  July 11. Middle School Adventure Camp will be the week of July 18.

Registration open April 1, 2022.


Camp tuition is $150 for all participants. $135 for member campers. Payment for all camps will be due by June 15, 2022.

The number of campers will be limited so that social distancing can be maintained.  The registration link will open on April 1.  Additional information will be posted on our website and Facebook as it becomes available.


Camp Hours and Length
Camp runs Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please send your camper with both a snack and a bag lunch. We do not provide any food to campers.

Camp spots will be reserved only after a camper profile is created. Camp tuition is due by JUNE 15, 2022. There are two ways to pay for camp:

1. Through your camper’s CampDoc profile with debit, credit, or bank information

OR

2. At the center with cash, check, or credit/debit card

The City of Biloxi will be conducting registration for its annual Summer Playground and Enrichment Program on Saturday, April 9, 2022, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Woolmarket Elementary School Gym, 12513 John Lee Rd., Biloxi.

Registration is open to Biloxi residents in the Woolmarket and North Woolmarket communities with children ages 5 to 12. Only 75 spots will be available.

If slots are available, Woolmarket non-residents will be allowed to register Monday, April 11 through Friday, April 29 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Parks and Recreation office, 377 Hiller Drive. Late registration will be also held at that time. To check availability, call the office at 228-388-7170 or email playground@biloxi.ms.us.


All recommended safety protocols will be followed.
